On production lines, flexible conveyors are a fairly common type of equipment, as they can handle transportation tasks at various angles within a given space, as well as meeting the requirements for sharp turns. Moreover, flexible conveyors are relatively easy to operate. 1. Inspection before starting the flexible conveyor: Before turning on the flexible conveyor, it is necessary to check the transmission components, sprockets, chain plates, and safety devices to ensure that they are properly installed and secure. Check each wire for any looseness or slippage in its connection, and verify that the lubrication in the gaps between the chain links is adequate; if it is not, apply lubricant immediately. 2. The flexible conveyor should be started in the order specified: (1) First, start the receiving equipment of the flexible conveyor; (2) Then start the flexible conveyor itself; (3) Finally, start the feeding device of the flexible conveyor. 3. During operation, the material supply to the flexible conveyor must be even. Too much material should not be fed, as this can lead to blockages; material that spills outside the flexible conveyor can easily cause the chain plates to derail. 4. During transportation, if any malfunction occurs on the flexible conveyor, it is necessary to stop the machine immediately for inspection, and professional personnel should carry out repairs. 5. It is necessary to regularly check the tightness of the chain plates on the flexible conveyor, and adjust their tightness as needed to prevent slippage of the conveyor belt. 6. Keep the flexible conveyor belt clean, and carefully fill in the relevant records on a daily basis. 7. Before shutting down a flexible conveyor, first stop the feeding equipment, then wait until all the material on the conveyor belt has been conveyed away before shutting it down. In summary, the operation of a flexible conveyor is quite convenient.
