What is the significance of using a pour point tester according to GB/T3535-2006? (1) For oils containing wax, it can serve as an indicator for estimating the amount of wax present in those oils. During operation, the temperature of turbine oil is always above 40 degrees Celsius, and under normal circumstances this is considered safe. However, if the machine is shut down during winter (in cold regions), the turbine oil may lose its fluidity, which can easily cause damage to the main shaft when the turbine is started; therefore, **the standard specifies a temperature below -7 degrees Celsius.
