Conveyor belts have a simple structure, high reliability, and are easy to operate and maintain. It is suitable for transporting various types of goods such as boxes, bags, and pallets; bulk materials, small items, or irregular items should be placed on pallets or transfer containers for transportation. Conveyor belts on roller conveyors can transport materials with a large individual weight, or withstand high impact loads. According to the driving method, roller conveyor structures are divided into non-powered roller conveyors and powered roller conveyors. When selecting conveyors for the food industry, it is advisable to give priority to those with a fully stainless-steel frame and stainless-steel drums. Before customizing a roller conveyor, we first need to determine the following parameters of the roller conveyor: (1) the length, width, and height of the objects to be conveyed by the roller conveyor ; (2) The weight of each conveying unit on the roller conveyor ; (3) Condition of the bottom of the items conveyed by the roller conveyor ; (4) Are there any special requirements regarding the operating environment for roller conveyors? ; (5) Roller conveyors can be of the unpowered type or motor-driven type. The most common drawback of roller conveyors is related to the motors; these motors are the heart of the conveyor system, and even minor issues can prevent it from functioning properly. It is important to address any problems that arise promptly, and at the same time, regular maintenance is necessary in order to extend the lifespan of the roller conveyor and thereby bring better economic benefits to manufacturing companies. The most common drawback of roller conveyors during operation is that the motor fails to start or slows down immediately after starting. There are generally four reasons for this issue: (1) It may be caused by problems with the wiring. Solution: Conduct an inspection of the conveyor belt circuit as soon as possible ; (2) It could also be caused by a drop in voltage. Solution: Check the voltage of the roller conveyor to ensure it is normal ; (3) It could also be a drawback of the contactor. Solution: At this point, it is necessary to check the overloaded electrical appliances and replace them promptly ; (4) Another possibility is that it is caused by the conveyor belt being operated too many times in a short period of time. Solution: At this point, we only need to reduce the number of operations in order to enable the roller conveyor to start working properly.
