On the afternoon of August 21, the practical skills competition for the \"Automation Conveyor Line Design\" category, part of the 27th Xiamen Workers’ Technical Competition, was successfully held at Huli Plant 2. This competition was organized by the Xiamen Labor Competition Committee, undertaken by the Chenhong Trade Union Federation, and supported by the Group’s P Business Department. A total of over sixty contestants from various companies such as Chenhong, Chenmei, and Baochen signed up for this competition. Through this competition, not only did the participants learn more systematically the theoretical knowledge such as the technical principles and standard specifications for the design of automated assembly lines, but it also provided them with a platform for exchanging experiences and learning from one another. In this competition, the participants used their weekend time to attend training sessions to learn about the selection of common components and wires, as well as circuit principles; under the guidance of instructors, they then carried out practical work on designing automated assembly line circuits. In the training classroom, everyone listened attentively to the lectures and worked in groups under the instructor’s guidance, earnestly learning and absorbing all the knowledge points taught by the instructor. After completing the theoretical studies and assessments, the contestants who moved on to the practical competition faced even stricter tests. In the practical competition, contestants are required to, within 25 minutes, use circuit design to enable the assembly line machine to perform various tasks specified in the rules such as forward rotation, reverse rotation, self-locking, and stopping, and to adjust various parameters as requested by the judges. The contestants focused intently on drawing circuit sketches, then began connecting the circuitry of the machines according to those drawings. On the competition field, machines and cables intertwined with one another, tools made ringing noises, and each competitor was fully focused, engaging in a fierce contest between skill and time. After fierce competition, Zheng Xiaolin from Chenmei Optoelectronics won the first prize ； Zhang Qinhé and four others from Chenmei Optoelectronics won the second prize ； Lin Liandun and nine others from Chenson Technology won the third prize. After the match, Qin Hui, the manager from Chenmei Optoelectronics, provided a summary and comments on the competition. He mentioned that through this competition, he hopes that all participants will gain something from it and grow as individuals, continue to work hard, and keep striving to become the key force behind the automation of enterprise production!
