A particle counter is used to detect the size and quantity of various particles in oils. It utilizes the core technology of British Prolite – \"resist measurement particles\" – as well as the classic methods in the oil industry, NAS1638 and So4406. Additionally, it can incorporate various standards required by users according to their needs. Classification of particle counters: 1. Desktop particle counters: Desktop particle counters are primarily used for sample testing in laboratories. They are developed in accordance with standards such as GB/T18854-2002 (ISO11171-1999) and other international standards, using the optical obstruction method to determine the size and quantity of solid particles in liquids. 2. Portable particle counters: These convenient particle counters are used to determine the size and quantity of solid particles in oils. They allow for easy on-site sampling and measurement, and can also be connected to a system for online monitoring. They incorporate standards such as GB/T14039-2002 (ISO4406:1999) and NAS1638; additional standards can be integrated as required by the user. 3. Online particle counters: Online particle counters serve as an important complement to the desktop and portable versions of these counters, providing equipment maintenance professionals with a more economical and efficient way to detect particle contamination in oils.
