Using ordinary carbon steels such as 20R, 08CR2ALMORÉ, as well as stainless steels and duplex steels carries certain risks; after all, the high partial pressure of hydrogen sulfide along with moisture increase the susceptibility to wet hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion, leading to premature failure and leakage during use. It is recommended to use the nickel-based alloy 08825, which might be a better choice, although it requires a higher initial investment
