Are there any standards that require splash protection measures for pipes and flanges exposed to corrosive media such as nitric acid?
HG20571-2014 5.6.1 When designing production processes involving substances that pose a risk of chemical burns, it is necessary to properly select the process flow, equipment, and pipe materials to prevent leakage or splashing of materials.
I always feel that this is a redundant clause. It has no practical meaning at all
