I hold a master’s degree and currently work in shifts at an oil refinery; I have been there for 5 years, having experienced the entire process from the construction of the hydrocracking unit to its commissioning. Corrosion prevention is a supplementary aspect of engineering projects; generally, the companies involved are not very large, making it suitable for private ownership or individual operation. I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. I suggest that you had better not switch jobs there; you might end up ruining yourself by going there

Why not stay at the large refinery and instead go to that small anti-corrosion company? Such companies are usually on-site construction firms; what’s there to talk about in terms of career prospects and benefits?
After all, I have a master’s degree and 5 years of work experience; if I’m going to go somewhere, it should be a large engineering company, preferably one with foreign investment. Otherwise, I’d better stay where I am!
