Issues regarding the construction of ductile iron pipes

Hi Hai, for my project I have 2 sets of ductile iron buried fire protection pipes, and a total of 4 box-type, directly-buried Guanlong gate valves are required. The pipes are protected against corrosion using anti-corrosion paint along with cold-rolling tape. What is the most effective way to protect the gaps between the valve flanges from corrosion?

For gaskets, we use thick PTFE gaskets. What I mean is the gap between the flanges; if no measures are taken, soil will enter this gap after backfilling, thereby causing direct corrosion to the flanges.
It is still recommended to use paint along with cold-rolling tape, after all, it needs to be buried.
