The shape of the weld has defects of varying degrees, such as depressions, pores, slag inclusions, etc., and the distribution of stress in the weld is also uneven. And corrosion leakage may occur due to media contact reaction and other reasons. In addition, the complexity of the metal structure will also affect the corrosion pattern. Corrosion with greater depth concentrated on individual small points on the metal surface is called pitting corrosion, or pitting corrosion. Severe crevice corrosion will occur in the gaps and covered parts of the metal surface. Therefore, the corrosion of the welds between the tube sheet and the tubes is mainly pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion. There are many solutions to the above corrosion problems in actual production.: 1. The surface of the heat exchanger in contact with the corrosive fluid medium should be covered with a layer of highly corrosion-resistant metal or alloy through a certain method to isolate the corrosive medium from direct contact with the surface of the base material, such as a stainless steel lining. 2. Isolating media such as metal spraying, electroplating and brush plating. 3. Improve the corrosive environment of the medium, such as adding a certain corrosion inhibitor to the water. 4. Protect the corroded parts, such as using carbon nanopolymer materials for leak plugging and repair.
