Demand for enamel in the past 3 years has been very strong; even many small companies have seen their business volumes surge... It’s possible that the pandemic caused people to meet their immediate needs earlier, thereby shifting those needs to subsequent years. Let’s see what happens going forward
All the orders for good enamel factories are already full; the delivery time has increased from 3 or 4 months to around 12 months now, and due to power shortages, the delivery times are even more unpredictable. Domestic enamel manufacturers are mainly concentrated in Jiangsu and Shandong. Jiangsu excels in quality, with its technology spreading to other regions. It is expected that the technical gap will narrow over the next 10 years; it mainly comes down to the management philosophy of the boss.
I expect the lining industry to experience a major reshuffle in the next three years. Given the current market conditions, almost 80% of lining manufacturers have expanded their production capacities. Over the next three years, there is likely to be a slowdown in the relocation of chemical-related industries, and demand for linings will tend to decline steadily. This will lead to a significant restructuring of the increased production capacity in these areas; perhaps within those three years, lining manufacturers will once again face a situation as severe as that seen in 2015.
Yes, some companies expand their production blindly, without conducting any evaluations, out of speculation. It’s fine if a company truly has the capabilities, but those that are just wasting time and not working diligently will perish quickly
Many friends have asked me to recommend enamel factories. Generally, I’m reluctant to do so, as I’m afraid it might damage the trust between friends: lol. If I do give recommendations, they will be for mid-to-high-end factories; I definitely won’t recommend any low-end ones
