I would like to ask everyone: can water-based paints be used for the anti-corrosion protection of chemical industry pipelines? If possible, what is the typical dry film thickness? In a moderately corrosive environment (sulfuric acid titanium dioxide plants), can an epoxy-rich zinc-based water-based paint with a thickness of 60μm meet the requirements?

Water-based paints are now commonly used; oil-based paints are not permitted, unless a specific environment is specified in the design. As for the paint film thickness, follow the design requirements.
It’s possible. With environmental concerns rising these days, many manufacturers have switched to water-based paints. As for corrosion protection on the outer surface, it is determined based on the surrounding environment
