Can 30% (v%) ethylene glycol solution be transported using carbon steel pipes? Ethylene glycol solutions are corrosive to both carbon steel and stainless steel; what material should be used for pipeline construction?
At temperatures below 80°C, CS is completely sufficient; however, no cleanliness requirements are necessary. If the temperature is high, 304 will suffice~
If you are concerned, you can use lined pipes; what is the maximum temperature allowed?

(2) 304 stainless steel: ethylene glycol (any concentration, 25–100°C); material corrosion rate: excellent, <0.5 mm/year. (3) If the medium temperature is below 80°C, it is recommended to use carbon steel pipes

Nitrogen purging during the use of ethylene glycol to isolate it from oxygen and reduce the formation of acidic substances as a result of the oxidation of ethylene glycol. 2. The pipe material is stainless steel. 3. Adding ethylene glycol as a corrosion inhibitor prevents ethylene glycol-induced corrosion to the greatest extent possible.
