In water-cooled tube bundles, circulating water flows inside the tube walls, while the shell side is typically filled with light oils such as gasoline or oil-gas mixtures. Currently, epoxy amino, silicone-modified epoxy, and lacquer are effective choices for the circulating water side of heat exchanger tube bundles; the key is to select anti-corrosion materials carefully for the oil and gas side due to the corrosion risks there.
