The propagation speed of ultrasound can reflect the internal structure and corrosion condition of the equipment; therefore, this testing method can be used to identify corrosion issues within the equipment. X-ray inspection is another common method for detecting equipment corrosion. It involves irradiating the surface of the equipment with high-energy X-rays and measuring the absorption of these X-rays within the equipment, thereby determining the wall thickness and degree of corrosion. This method is commonly used for inspecting thicker metal equipment or pipes, but since X-rays are harmful to the human body, safety measures must be taken to protect the workers. In short, equipment corrosion detection technology is very important in industrial production. Different testing methods have their own advantages and applicable ranges; choosing the appropriate testing method based on specific requirements plays a crucial role in ensuring safe production and reducing costs. --
