Corrosion on the outer wall of the burner in the incinerator

The combustion air is heated to 350°C by passing through a heat exchanger before entering the burner. The outer insulation of the burner is intact; however, the lower part is corroded as shown in the image. The material used is 304. The temperature inside the furnace is 1050°C. What is causing this corrosion, and how should anti-corrosion measures be taken in such cases?
Corrosion at the lower part of the outer wall of the burner may be caused by high temperatures and chemical substances such as acidic gases. The corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel decreases in high-temperature and corrosive medium environments. It is recommended to replace the material or add an anti-corrosion coating, using materials that are resistant to high temperatures and chemical corrosion, such as nickel-based alloys or high-temperature-resistant coatings, in order to improve the corrosion resistance of the outer wall. At the same time, check and optimize the operation of the heat exchanger to prevent overheating and the accumulation of acidic substances. .
