Moreover, the use of coatings requires that the metal not undergo fine processing (no sandblasting is needed), and there are very few materials available for this purpose due to constraints in material manufacturing. Therefore, the sandblasting-free coating technology is still discussed on a limited scale (among design firms, clients, and construction companies); once a project approves it, low-surface-treatment coatings can be used.
