Figure 1 shows the inner wall of the heater tube bundle; the fluid used is circulating water, with a temperature of 25 to 35 degrees Celsius. Figure 2 shows the outer wall of the heat exchanger tube bundle, with the fluid being oil and gas (gasoline), at a temperature of 90–60 degrees. Generally, carbon steel tube bundles without anti-corrosion treatment have a service life of only 3 years, while those with anti-corrosion treatment can be used for at least 8 years or more.
