Paint names, characteristics, uses, and application guidelines: Epoxy resin stabilized paint and alkyd stabilized rust-primer. Both types of paint offer good rust prevention properties, with epoxy resin being superior to the alkyd stabilized rust-primer. Can be used on stainless steel surfaces (after simple cleaning). 1. Remove loose rust layers as well as all debris, oil stains, etc. 2. Spraying or brushing is both acceptable; two coats are recommended, with each coat having a thickness of 40–50 μm. 3. Stir thoroughly before use; epoxy resins should be thinned with X-7 epoxy thinner or X-4 amino thinner. Alkyd is thinned with xylene or X-6 alkyd thinner. 4. This paint can be used in combination with alkyd enamel, vinyl chloride paint, amino paint, epoxy paint, and polyurethane paint. 5. The technical specifications are shown in Table C2. This water-based, embroidered anti-rust coating is non-toxic, odorless, has strong adhesion, dries quickly, and can be used for extended periods at temperatures ranging from 200 to 300°C. This coating can be applied directly to metal surfaces that are free of rust, have some degree of rust, or have an existing paint layer. It can replace rust-inhibiting paints such as phenolic and alkyd red lead paints, as well as nitrocellulose primers, and can also be used as a topcoat. This coating can also be used in combination with various solvent-based topcoats. 1. It must be mixed thoroughly before painting; no water or other solvents should be added. 2. Remove oil, sediment, and loose oxide scale from the metal surface. The thickness of the rust layer is generally required to be below 50 μm; in cases of heavy rust, multiple applications are needed. 3. Spraying, brushing, or dipping are all acceptable; keep it protected from rain within 24 hours after application. The applicators can be cleaned with tap water. 4. This coating is mainly used as an undercoat; the topcoat can be applied only after 24 hours of drying. 5. The construction environment temperature should be no lower than 15°C. 6. C02 Alkyd Rust-Primer: This is a new type of primer that can be used on steel surfaces with light rust. It not only prevents further rusting but also converts the rust layer into a beneficial component within the paint film. It is suitable for use on steel surfaces with a rust layer thickness of 30μm or less, as well as on steel surfaces that are free of rust or have only a slight amount of firm oxide scale. 1. From the date of production, this product has a valid storage period of 1 year; after that period, it can be inspected in accordance with the criteria specified in these standards. 2. This paint can be used in combination with alkyd enamel. 3. It can be diluted with X-6 alkyd paint thinner during construction. 4. Technical specifications are shown in C4.
