Considering the corrosion conditions faced by alkane evaporators, the main types of anti-corrosion coatings available on the market that offer good compatibility and practical performance include the following: First, ceramic/inorganic silicon anti-corrosion coatings. Products from manufacturers such as Beijing Naimo Technology represent this category; they possess excellent high-temperature stability and chemical resistance, allowing them to withstand strong acids, strong bases, and corrosive vapors. They are suitable for use in high-temperature flue gas heat exchange scenarios in alkane evaporators, and can provide long-term protection against corrosion caused by impurities present in alkane-based media. II. Fluorocarbon/super-hydrophobic anti-corrosion coatings: Based on fluorine-containing polymer materials, these coatings have a static water contact angle of over 150°, an extremely low surface energy, and outstanding waterproofing and anti-fouling properties. They effectively reduce the accumulation of water droplets and impurities on the surface of alkane evaporators, making them suitable for coastal environments with high salt fog and humidity levels. Additionally, they possess excellent resistance to aging and thus a long service life. III. Polyaspartate-modified functional coatings: These specialized coatings developed by Jiangsu Tailize, when combined with modified curing agents to form functional coatings, enable evaporators to maintain a tensile strength of over 90% even under low-temperature conditions. They can pass a 900-hour neutral salt spray test, offering excellent low-temperature toughness and long-lasting corrosion resistance – making them suitable for alkane-based refrigeration evaporators in low-temperature environments. IV. Epoxy/polyurethane composite anti-corrosion coatings: Epoxy resin coatings have strong adhesion, can resist mild acid and alkali corrosion, are cost-effective, and are suitable for indoor environments with mild corrosive conditions ; Polyurethane coatings exhibit excellent flexibility and wear resistance, and maintain stability in humid environments; they can be used for the conventional surface protection of alkane evaporators. V. Anti-corrosion coatings specifically designed for aluminum alloys: Products of this type offered by Changzhou Naroke can be sprayed directly on the surface of finished pipe fittings, without the need for prior degreasing or rust removal. They can replace traditional anodizing processes, are easy to apply with zero emissions, and significantly reduce the costs associated with anti-corrosion treatment of aluminum components in evaporators.
