Help with AutoCAD P&ID

For beginners, it is necessary to draw a large number of PID and PFD diagrams, but time is limited. It is said that AutoCAD P&ID is very convenient for this purpose; I downloaded the 2015 version, but found that this software is not suitable for creating drawings in accordance with national standards – almost none of the devices provided in it meet these standards. Custom blocks can be used to address this issue, which isn’t difficult, but it does require time. What’s giving me the most trouble at the moment is that whenever I create a new A1 drawing and use the tool options to print it, the output is surprisingly small; I need to zoom in significantly to see details clearly. Setting a scale factor for each element isn’t a solution either. I’d appreciate some advice from experts. Additionally, besides defining my own blocks, what other steps are needed to create drawings that comply with national standards?
