When simulating the reaction using RStoic, the following error occurs: ERROR “STOIC” SENTENCE NO. 1 IN CHEMISTRY GLOBAL DOES NOT SATISFY MASS BALANCE. THE ABSOLUTE ERROR IS -24.096. PLEASE CHECK THE STOICHIOMETRY AND MOLECULAR WEIGHTS. Custom components are involved in the reaction equation, but it is balanced and the molecular weights are correct. I don’t understand why mass is not conserved. I hope an expert can give some advice.
What kind of equation is it exactly? Is it one that cannot be written down by hand or balanced manually, or must it be balanced using a computer?
The measurable ratio that can be written down is 1:1 ——> 1:1
Why is the quality so poor? It’s obviously not a problem with the molar mass
Obviously it’s not even; you think it is. Also, check whether the components inside are those you were supposed to enter.
The components are correct. The reaction is the exchange of Na ions for hydrogen ions: RH + NaOH → RNa + H2O. The 1:1 stoichiometry seems correct... So why isn’t it balanced?
