I would like to ask fellow sailors: when it comes to the three-column distillation process using alcohol, how should one choose between direct heating and indirect heating? Is it necessary to analyze each tower individually? Which parameters should be referred to for evaluation

Direct heating heats only 1 distillation column, while the remaining columns use the waste heat from that 1 distillation column
