Help, I still haven’t understood the practical application of those diagrams showing the installation locations of various instruments.
On-site installation means installing it directly on the equipment.
By \"on-site panel mounting,\" it means that many units have a control panel on site, with the instruments installed on the panel frame on the west side.
Installation in the control room: it can be installed in a control cabinet (within the control room), or as software functions implemented via DCS or computers
The accurate understanding should be: the locations can be divided into the field, the central control room, and the field control room/field booth; The central control room and the field control room/field compartment can be further divided into visible or invisible (conventional instruments are classified as panel-mounted and back-panel mounted) ; Conceptually, it means implementing response functions at the site, functions in the control room, and functions in the on-site control room/on-site chamber ; In terms of automation devices, they can be divided into conventional instruments and computer-based virtual instruments (DCS, PLC, IPC, etc.) ; Conventional instruments are installed on-site, in control rooms (on the panel/back of the panel), and in field control rooms/field cabinets (on the panel/back of the panel) ; Virtual instruments (functional modules) based on computer technology are manifested as visible/invisible.
