It seems that currently the concentration of the distillate can only be adjusted by changing the distillation volume and the reflux ratio. Are there any other ways in which optimization can be achieved?
Feed position, operating pressure, side extraction position, heat exchange optimization, etc
This relates to the issue of irrigation, and it is covered in any book on principles of chemical engineering and simulation.
