I’ve gained some insights while installing PCCAD these past two days, so I’m sharing them here right away; it might also help those who need it. Installing PCCAD 2011 + CAD 2010 on Win7 is quite straightforward. It’s mainly for Win10; I’ll outline the general steps. It might be a bit confusing, so everyone can figure out the process on their own. The steps may not be exact, but that’s how I managed to install it, as I tried many times. 1. To check the version of your Win10 x64 system, press WIN+R and type “winver”. I originally planned to seek remote assistance through Taobao, but the seller told me that version 1909 couldn’t be installed. After installing another version, I encountered a blue screen error when trying to install PCCAD. The post at https://tieba.baidu.com/p/6738256171 suggests using the earliest LTSB versions from 2015/2016, especially version 2016, as it offers excellent compatibility; MSDN links are also available. So I downloaded the system again, and I recommend that everyone use this version as well: ed2k://|file|cn_windows_10_enterprise_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9057083.iso|4149981184|EFCB9D522DAA0C6A7BF3A5464C65DCBC|/. 2. After installing the system, download DriverLife and 360, and apply all the necessary patches and drivers. I find DriverLife to be very useful; Visual C++ seems to be some kind of runtime environment. 3. First, install CAD2010 64-bit; after activation, uninstall it, then install CAD2010 32-bit (the 64-bit version modified). It should be available for download online. 4. Install the cracked version of pccad2011 – this cracked version comes with full functionality. Accessing the part library is secondary; in my opinion, that’s not essential. What we really need are its advanced reporting functions. Many vendors claim to offer full-functional versions, but these versions don’t support complex reporting (since they’ve never used these functions and therefore haven’t tested them). Functions for creating part lists, supply lists, and purchased parts lists may vary depending on the needs of different companies, but anyway, this is a function we do need. 6. I don’t have the 32-bit to 64-bit conversion version of CAD2010 in my cloud storage, so it’s not available for download here; however, it should be possible to find a place where it can be downloaded. If there’s really someone who needs it, I can consider uploading it. 7. There are versions of PCCAD2018 on the Internet that come with 2015 features; I didn’t bother to try them as it was too much work. The 2011pccad combined with 2010’s CAD is, to my knowledge, the one with the most comprehensive set of functions. There is a bug where the shutdown button of the software disappears. But you can just close it with the right button.
