When using Aspen to connect with Fortran, it is common to encounter issues such as ifort.exe not being found or the Fortran libraries not being available; these are usually related to matching problems. The solution is: within the program startup screen, find ‘set compiler’ under Aspen Plus. Install the compatible versions of VS and IVF corresponding to the version of Aspen that you have installed. Remember to follow the installation order: VS → IVF → Aspen. If everything is installed correctly, it will show ‘OK’; select that option. Running aspcomp again will not cause any problems.
