As the title says. Dear colleagues, recently the pH level of the water in the boilers in my workshop has not been able to increase, and the total solids level remains very high. The decrease in pH and the increase in total solids occur simultaneously; I suspect there is a leak in the desalinated water preheater, allowing low-pressure gas to mix into the desalinated water. There is a drain valve after the desalinated water preheater; may I ask how I can collect the low-molecular-weight hydrogen gas in the desalinated water at the outlet of the preheater? Go to the liquid separation tank; it’s best to shut down the heat exchanger to plug the leak.
I am now also suspecting that there is no leak in the desalinated water preheater; I have installed a sampling cooler on the drain valve at the preheater’s outlet today, and I will go to collect gas samples tomorrow to check whether hydrogen is present. Then report it to the technical department. . .
