The methanol market trend in Shanxi varies, with the mainstream price ranging from 2,140 to 2,230 yuan per ton. Most enterprises in Jincheng have suspended parking operations or reduced production; the current reference price is 2,150–2,160 yuan per ton ； The prevailing ex-works quotes in Linfen stand at 2,180 yuan per ton, while the auction prices set by major enterprises are at 2,140 yuan per ton ； The auction price in the Changzhi area is 2,200–2,230 yuan per ton ； The auction price in the Lüliang area is 2,220–2,230 yuan per ton ； The price in the Datong area this week is 2,330 yuan per ton. The retail price of methanol in southern Shandong remains stable at around 2,310–2,320 yuan per ton ； Traders are quoting around 2,280–2,290 yuan per ton without invoices, as the market remains weak. Market transactions remain sluggish. The methanol market in Anhui region is showing weak fluctuations; some companies are selling at around 2,280–2,300 yuan per ton. Demand in the market is low, with a cautious attitude prevailing among buyers. In the Two Lakes region, the methanol market has been trading sideways. Market sales remain sluggish, and market participants are rather pessimistic. In Hubei Province, the prevailing negotiation range is 2,420–2,500 yuan per ton; this represents the prices offered by major manufacturers at the lower end, while some traders quote higher prices at the upper end ； In the Hunan region, some negotiation prices are around 2,550–2,600 yuan per ton, with most of these quotes coming from traders in Changsha. The spot market for methanol in Fujian has seen a slight increase. The negotiation prices in the main storage areas of Quangang are around 2,330 yuan per ton, while the spot prices in Xiamen are 2,340 yuan per ton. There is limited supply, and coupled with replenishment needs on the downstream side, the market remains strong.
