The gasification plant project of Yihua in Xinjiang is an EPC turnkey project that includes civil engineering work. Due to factors such as the geographical location of the construction site, climate conditions, and time differences, the difficulties and scale of construction involved are evident. As early as the beginning of November this year, the Yihua project team in Xinjiang began making thorough preparations for winter construction. To ensure the successful completion of the annual plan, the project department took proactive measures by holding a special meeting on winter construction. Taking into account the climate characteristics of Xinjiang and the actual conditions on site, it developed winter construction plans and safety management procedures, detailed the measures for winter construction, and made thorough arrangements regarding safety, quality, and progress during this period. The project department also organized training for its staff, as well as for the subcontractors, on the technical requirements and safety rules related to winter construction. For key and challenging projects, the project department ensures proper arrangement, thorough inspection, and effective implementation. Following the principle of \"checking while making corrections,\" any issues identified are promptly reported along with clear requirements for rectification, and these are incorporated into the hazard identification system for tracked resolution. At the same time, conduct in-depth analysis of the issues, comprehensively strengthen weak areas in quality and safety, and gradually establish a long-term mechanism for quality and safety management. In addition, to motivate the construction workers, the Xinjiang Yihua project team, in collaboration with the owner and subcontractors, signed responsibility agreements to ensure a proper division of tasks and clear objectives. Corresponding assessment and reward systems were established based on the different stages of the project, and these rewards and penalties were actually implemented. Under the coordination of the project team, on December 20, the gas outlet pipeline of the secondary cooler was connected to the main gas pipeline in the external corridor; all the process pipelines at the Xinjiang Yihua project site were connected, and the conditions for pressure testing were met. As of now, the mechanical and electrical installation work on site is nearly complete, with the finalization tasks for various specialties being carried out in an orderly manner; the project has now entered the countdown phase leading to commissioning. Project Profile: Xinjiang Yihua is located in Wucaiwan, Jundong, Jimusaer County, Xinjiang. It is the first large-scale enterprise to set up operations in the Jundong area of Xinjiang, with a production capacity of 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 600,000 tons of urea. Previously, fixed-bed gasifiers were used, which required high-quality raw coal and resulted in high costs. Through research, the company’s R&D personnel, adhering to the principle of making full use of local coal resources and taking into account characteristics such as high moisture content, low melting point, and high levels of calcium, sodium, and potassium in the local coal, designed a pulverized coal gasification plant using circulating fluidized bed gasification technology. The plant will consist of 3 sets of circulating fluidized bed gasifiers, each with a capacity of 60,000 Nm3/h; once completed, it will supply raw gas for the ammonia synthesis system at Yihua in Xinjiang.
