Recently, the 300,000-ton-per-year compound fertilizer production facility of CNOOC Chemical Co., Ltd.’s Huahe Plant began trial production in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, producing poly-nucleic acid-enhanced compound fertilizer products. This pilot production of the project marks the company’s transition from the production of simple fertilizers to a new era of producing nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium enhanced compound fertilizers. It is reported that the launch of poly-nucleic acid compound fertilizers further expands the range of CNOOC Chemical’s product offerings. While fulfilling its role as a \"provider of plant nutrition solutions,\" it also contributes to promoting the green development of agriculture in Heilongjiang Province and to increasing agricultural production and income in the Northeast region. This project can also precisely adjust the composition ratio of the product according to the fertilizer requirements of different crops, thereby improving the nutrient utilization rate of these crops and promoting their growth as well as the development of their root systems. Jiang Ping, deputy chief engineer of Huahe Company and general manager of the compound fertilizer project team, said that based on the results of soil testing, the company has developed special and customized fertilizers suitable for crops grown in the Sanjiang Plain. These fertilizers enable more comprehensive nutrient supply without increasing the amount of fertilizer used, thus leading to a steady increase in grain production.
