Henan-based companies have not yet provided quotes; those in stock have offered slightly lower prices, with prices in the Luoyang market dropping to around 1690–1700 yuan per ton in cash terms. Buyers are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, resulting in few actual transactions. The negotiated price for methanol in the Dongying area of Shandong is 1,750–1,760 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; sales are moderate, with downstream buyers being cautious in their purchases. In central Shandong, the market price of methanol dropped by 50 yuan per ton, reaching 1,770–1,970 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery. Trading activity was moderate, with most downstream buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude and proceeding with purchases cautiously. In southern Shandong, the market price for methanol has dropped by 10 yuan per ton, to around 1800 yuan per ton in cash terms. In Linyi, the price for locally produced methanol is around 1780–1800 yuan per ton, while the price for methanol delivered via logistics is around 1760 yuan per ton. Appropriate replenishment downstream provides some support to companies’ morale. Quotations for the methanol market in northern Jiangsu have dropped by 20-30 yuan per ton, to 1810-1820 yuan per ton in cash terms; transactions are mainly on a spot basis, and companies remain relatively calm. The reference quotes for the methanol market in Anhui region remain stable at 1,800–1,850 yuan per ton, ex-plant and on credit; factories face high inventory pressures, resulting in limited transactions in the market. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating in a regulated manner. Hubei-based companies remain steady in their quotes; the reference price at the factory is 1,820–1,900 yuan per ton in cash terms, with limited actual transactions taking place ; Negotiations in the Hunan market are weakening; for goods supplied from other regions, the reference price is 1,960–1,980 yuan per ton in cash terms, and trading activity is sluggish. The methanol market in Fujian remains generally stable; import suppliers in the main storage areas are offering prices around 1,880–1,900 yuan per ton, including taxes, at the time of delivery. Activity in the local market is low, with few inquiries.
