At the beginning of the week, most people are waiting to see how prices develop, with attention focused on prices in the northwest region. The methanol market in Henan saw a slight increase. The quotes from key manufacturers have risen compared to the period before the festival; the reference price at the factory is 1550 yuan per ton in cash terms. Futures prices are up, and suppliers have raised their quotes. In the Luoyang market, the reference price is around 1580–1600 yuan per ton in cash terms, with buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi, has risen by 100–110 yuan per ton, reaching 1,530–1,550 yuan per ton ex-works in cash ； In the Changzhi area, online auctions result in prices of 1,520–1,570 yuan per ton, ex-plant and in cash ； The price of mainstream products in Jincheng area has risen by 60 yuan per ton, reaching 1,500 yuan per ton ex-works in cash ； In the Lüliang region, the auction price ranges from 1,520 to 1,530 yuan per ton, ex-plant in cash ； No new prices available for the Yuncheng and Datong areas yet. Bids in this region are performing well, companies are able to sell their products smoothly, and the majority of supplies go to Shandong, Henan, and Hebei. In the Dongying area of Shandong, prices in the methanol market have risen by 50–80 yuan per ton, reaching 1630–1650 yuan per ton when delivered against cash. Transactions are moderate, and it is expected that the market will remain within this range. In the methanol market in southern Shandong, the prevailing prices have risen by 60–70 yuan per ton, reaching around 1630 yuan per ton in cash terms; some deals can be negotiated. In Linyi, the price for locally sourced goods is around 1650 yuan per ton, without invoices, and there are currently no goods available for logistics delivery. The market trend is upward, and with some plants reducing their load or planning to shut down, operators’ sentiment remains supported. The methanol market in northern Jiangsu saw bids rise by 70 yuan per ton, reaching around 1,670–1,680 yuan per ton in cash terms; prices also increased in southern Shandong and on the trading platform, giving enterprises confidence. The reference price for methanol in the Anhui region is 1,620–1,680 yuan per ton, ex-plant and on credit, for high-quality products from Fuyang. Futures opened higher, with manufacturers holding prices steady. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region saw a slight upward trend. Some enterprises in Hubei have raised their quotes; the ex-plant price is 1,630–1,700 yuan per ton in cash terms, while the actual ex-plant price is around 1,620 yuan per ton in cash terms ； Negotiations in the Hunan market suggest a slight price increase; quotes range around 1750–1740 yuan per ton, with buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude.
