Trading was relatively slow, with purchases being made mainly as needed. There are no new prices for methanol plants in the Qinghai region this week. The restart date of the Zhonghao natural gas-to-methanol plant in Qinghai is expected to be postponed until May, while the restart date for the GuiLu natural gas-to-methanol plant in Qinghai remains undetermined. The reference selling prices in the methanol market of Anhui region have dropped by 20–40 yuan per ton, reaching 1580–1600 yuan per ton for delivery on credit. The unfavorable external conditions have negatively affected market sentiment, with downstream users and traders adopting a wait-and-see attitude.
