In response to the uneven quality of testing institutions and testing technologies in the vehicle urine solution industry, organized by Blue Technology Company, the first vehicle urine solution testing technology exchange meeting hosted by the Vehicle Urine Solution Sub-committee of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association was successfully held at Bali Gou Hotel from August 26 to 27. The meeting was chaired by Huang Jianli, Secretary-General of the Vehicle Urine Solution Sub-Committee of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association and General Manager of Henan Xinlianxin Blue Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Twenty-three leaders and industry experts from 17 authoritative testing institutions, including Tianjin Sinopec Yuetai Technology Co., Ltd., Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Testing Co., Ltd., Qingdao Customs Technical Center, Beijing Chemical Testing Station, and Henan Provincial Quality Inspection Institute – which are the organizations serving as the chairing bodies of the sub-committee – attended the meeting. To help the experts present gain a deeper understanding of Xinlianxin Company and the production process of its urea aqueous solution products, Shi Huilin, the deputy general manager of Xinlianxin Blue Technology, led them on a tour of the company’s culture exhibition hall, the Tai Lan Company’s urea filling plant, and the group’s central laboratory. The company’s rigorous approach to research and development, its strong capabilities in research and production, and its commitment to excellence in quality were highly praised by all those who attended. Zhao Yang, president of the branch and R&D director at Tianjin Sinopec Yuetai Technology Co., Ltd., introduced to the attendees on behalf of the association the current development status of the industry related to aqueous urea solutions for use in vehicles, as well as the challenges faced in the testing of such urea solutions. Qi Jialin, director of the Technical Center at Qingdao Customs, and Luo Yanli, director of the Xinlianxin Testing Center, delivered presentations on topics related to the qualification certification of testing institutions and the differences in testing technologies for vehicle urea solutions, which resonated with the attendees. Everyone actively engaged in discussions on current industry issues such as the lack of uniformity in the qualifications and standards for product sampling, the selection of reference materials, common problems in routine testing, technical differences, data comparison, and qualification certification, sharing their opinions and suggestions. Ju Rongling, director of the Beijing Chemical Testing Station, said that through this exchange on testing technologies, a clearer understanding was gained of the existing problems and current situation regarding the testing of automotive urea aqueous solution products. At the same time, it is hoped that the association will actively promote the establishment of channels for technical exchanges among testing institutions, so as to share information on new standards, data comparisons, and the selection of reference materials in a timely manner, facilitating communication among everyone and helping to standardize practices. In response, Huang Jianli said that the purpose of holding this exchange meeting was to standardize and unify the testing standards for vehicle urea by means of proactive communication and enhanced exchanges on testing technologies, thereby reducing errors in testing and analysis, and improving the standards and authority associated with vehicle urea testing. This would help promote the healthy and rapid development of China’s vehicle urea solution industry. The association will continue to act as a bridge and link for communication, taking into account everyone’s needs and suggestions. Finally, several testing institutions expressed their desire to participate regularly in similar exchange meetings organized by the association. In the next step, the association will arrange more technical exchanges between testing institutions and enterprises at an appropriate time. Through the organization of this technical exchange meeting, Xinlianxin Company has also gained experience in establishing industry communication platforms. It is believed that as future efforts continue, Xinlianxin Company will surely achieve its strategic goal of creating a respected platform for automotive urea resources.
