On March 31, the coal storage and transportation boiler transfer station was completed. As a key facility in the coal storage and transportation system, the transfer station is responsible for receiving coal from the strip stockyards and transporting it to both the boiler section and the gasification section; it plays a crucial role in the entire coal storage and transportation system. The boiler transfer station is a fully concrete structure, standing at the intersection of North First Road and West Second Road. To carry out the construction, it was necessary to cut down parts of the mountain and reinforce its slopes; this entailed a large volume of work and high levels of difficulty. The entire process took nearly 3 months. It was like a modern version of the story of \"Yu Gong moving the mountains.\" The construction company, Anyang Yongheng, divided the mountain into sections and removed almost 80,000 cubic meters of soil from there. The site issue was resolved, but after the foundation excavation, the rainy season set in; all drainage from the entire area flowed toward the transfer station, resulting in continuous pumping operations inside the foundation pit, which severely affected the construction progress of the boiler transfer station. To this end, all participating units worked overtime and overcame difficulties to speed up the schedule and ensure progress in the construction. Beiyi Road, where the transfer station is located, is the main road within the entire project area. There is a high volume of vehicles and people passing by there daily, making it difficult to ensure safety. Anyang Yongheng, the safety management team, and the sub-project teams implemented strict controls to ensure the safe progress of the project, and ultimately achieved partial success.
