On September 25, 2020, the 3,000-ton multi-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry gasifier as part of Henan Xinlianxin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd.’s “Project for industrial upgrading through clean production technologies” was successfully fed for the first time, located in the northern area of the Xinxiang Economic and Technical Industrial Cluster in Henan Province. The total investment in this project is 3 billion yuan. It involves the construction of an industrial upgrading project using clean production technologies on Qinglong Road in the Xinxiang Economic and Technical Industrial Cluster Zone. The main components of this project are the transformation of the ammonia and urea production facilities at the First Branch of Xinchuanxin Company so that they can be moved to the industrial cluster zone; at the same time, the existing ammonia-alcohol production capacity of both the First Branch and the first phase of the Second Branch will be upgraded and combined (with a total capacity of 360,000 tons of ammonia-alcohol synthesis gas). Once completed, the project will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of methanol and 200,000 tons of dimethyl ether.
