Pu Jienenghua’s black water angle valve equipment has been granted a **patent for invention / Source: Shaanxi Petrochemical News, Date: 10-12-2020, Clicks: 26. Recently, a newly designed black water angle valve device developed by the Instrument Maintenance Center of Pu Jienenghua Company received a “Patent for Invention” certificate issued by the **Intellectual Property Office. This invention has resolved the production problems that have plagued the company for a long time. It is reported that since the black water angle valve in the flash system of the company’s gasification unit began operating at the end of 2014, it has been unable to operate stably over long periods due to the effects of high-pressure, high-flow rate black water. Through extensive research and discussion, the technical staff at the center optimized the valve structure by changing it from an integrated design to a modular one, extended the guide sleeve so that its end face was level with the flange surface at the bottom of the valve. Additionally, corresponding technical modifications were made to the interior cavity of the valve, the lining of the guide sleeve, and the valve seat support rings, all in order to ensure the smooth operation of the 6 Texaco gasification furnaces. At present, the valves that have undergone preliminary technical modifications are performing well in operation. After completing one full cycle of use, inspections revealed that the internal components of the valves, as well as the valve chamber and the lining of the guide sleeves, are largely intact, allowing them to continue to be used.
