There is no available information on methanol prices in Qinghai Province; due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are currently shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The price of methanol in the Panjin area remains stable at 1,780–1,800 yuan per ton, ex-works. In the Shenyang area, the price is stable at 1,900 yuan per ton, ex-works. It has risen in line with increases in regions such as Inner Mongolia and other areas in the northwest. Traders are selling at a moderate pace, and downstream consumers have limited capacity to purchase more. In the Anhui region, the methanol market price rose by 10 yuan/ton to 1,930–1,950 yuan/ton on a cash-on-delivery basis. Producers have no inventory pressure, and their quotes remain firm. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching 1750–1760 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； In the Changzhi region, the offline price is reported at 1,820 yuan per ton, on a cash-at-delivery basis ； In the Jincheng region, the prevailing transaction price rose by 5 yuan/ton to 1,700–1,705 yuan/ton on a spot cash basis for ex-works delivery. In the Henan methanol market, focus of negotiations has shifted upward, and market trading is fairly active. Henan-based companies offer stable prices; the actual ex-factory price is around 1780–1800 yuan per ton ； Negotiated prices in the Luoyang market have risen to 1,820–1,840 yuan per ton. In the Two Lakes region, the methanol market saw partial price increases as a result of private negotiations, while trading volumes in the formal market remained decent. Hubei enterprises offer stable prices, with a reference Out of factory price of 1920–2000 yuan per ton ； Negotiated prices in the Hunan market saw a slight increase, with a reference range of 2080–2120 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Fujian region is declining; transactions in the main storage areas involve prices 10-20 yuan/ton lower, with prices at around 2000-2005 yuan/ton including taxes. The trading atmosphere at the market at the beginning of the week was poor, resulting in limited deals.
