Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based methanol production facilities in Qinghai are shut down for maintenance. The 600,000-ton/year methanol plant operated by Zhonghao is expected to resume operations in the near future. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi region, has stabilized at 1,950–1960 yuan per ton, with payment made upon factory delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area has stabilized at 2,100 yuan per ton, with payment made via bank transfer from the factory ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area remains stable at 2,100 yuan per ton, payable upon factory delivery. The methanol market in Henan is operating in a regulated manner, with weak trading activity. Henan-based enterprises generally deliver goods in accordance with the contracts; the reference price at the factory is 2170–2200 yuan per ton, and payment is made upon delivery ； Quotations in the Luoyang market continued to drop by 10 yuan/ton, reaching 2140–2150 yuan/ton in cash upon delivery, with weak trading activity. In the Anhui region, the mainstream reference price for methanol has dropped by 20 yuan per ton, to between 2280–2330 yuan per ton, ex-plant and on credit. Production companies drive shipments, with bearish sentiment in the market. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remained stable with light trading activity. Hubei-based companies offer stable prices; the reference price at the factory is 2385–2400 yuan per ton, with payment made by bank transfer upon delivery as per the contract terms ； Quotations for the Hunan market range from 2,540 to 2,560 yuan per ton, ex-works and in cash; transaction volume is low.
