Downstream industries such as compound fertilizer and plywood manufacturers have a greater demand for urea. The operating capacity of melamine production plants remains high, with production generally adjusted according to actual demand on an as-needed basis. From the supply side: urea has entered a period of centralized maintenance, with plans for maintenance in Shandong, Shanxi, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia, resulting in a decline in the daily production of urea. Overall, rising costs of urea, increasing demand from downstream industries, and a decrease in urea supply have led to a situation where supply falls short of demand.
