Baipo Zhengyuan: Reducing Dust and Achieving Clean Production. Author/Source: Yangmei Zhengyuan Group. Date: 2021-03-19. Clicks: 16. Clean production and environmental protection have always been among the goals of Baipo Zhengyuan’s urea production facility. Due to the high production load of the urea system recently, coupled with load adjustments, dust adhesion in the diurea granulation tower has become quite severe. To effectively recover dust and optimize process operations, on February 24th, the urea production workshop at Baipo Zhengyuan organized personnel to clean the granulation tower for the second-stage urea production. To avoid disrupting production, the urea plant assigned Song Jinchao, Zhao Sufei, Li Jianlong, and Wang Jinlong to form a youth task force, which used the time when urine was being filled to flush the second urea granulation tower. The urea dust adhering to the walls of the granulation tower is over ten centimeters thick, resulting in a huge amount of work. To speed up the work, they used condensate to wash the tower walls; the stone pot of the granulation tower was surrounded by iron guardrails, which made them extremely slippery. To ensure safe operation, they held the guardrail with one hand while using the other hand to hold the condensate hose and rinse along the perimeter of the guardrail. Working in shifts during lunch breaks keeps the work progressing. After 10 hours, the flushing task of the second urine granulation tower was successfully completed.
