There is a strong tendency among industry players to wait and observe. The methanol market in Qinghai remains stable for now, with leading companies having announced new prices this week. The current mainstream price remains stable at 2,030 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory; actual transaction prices can be negotiated, and the market atmosphere for transactions is favorable. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi region, has risen by 20–30 yuan per ton, reaching 2270–2280 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory ； In the Changzhi area, the offline price has increased by 50 yuan per ton, reaching 2350 yuan per ton; payment is to be made via bank transfer from the factory ； In the Jincheng region, the prevailing transaction price remains stable at 2,300–2,330 yuan per ton, on a works-delivery basis with cash payment. The methanol market in Henan remains stable, with trading at a standstill. Leading enterprises are fulfilling orders and making deliveries; refer to the current ex-works foreign exchange price of 2,370–2,380 yuan per ton ； The market quote in Luoyang is 2,370–2,380 yuan per ton, in cash upon delivery from the factory. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remains relatively stable, with buyers still adopting a wait-and-see attitude. The company’s quote remains stable; the reference price at the factory is 2400–2450 yuan per ton, with payment made via bank transfer upon delivery ； For negotiations in the Hunan market, the reference price is 2650–2680 yuan per ton, ex-works and in cash. In the Anhui region, the prevailing reference price for methanol remains stable at 2,500–2,520 yuan per ton, ex-works with acceptance. Demand-side performance was mediocre, with shipments driven by manufacturing enterprises. The methanol market in Fujian remains stable; in the Quangang area, the prevailing price for delivery against cash is around 2630–2640 yuan per ton, while in the Xiamen area it is approximately 2700 yuan per ton for delivery against cash. Market demand is weak, with few transactions taking place.
