On September 15, the inauguration ceremony for the technical renovation project of the desalinated water treatment system at Yan’an Energy Chemical Company was held. The company’s existing desalinated water system is operating via ultrafiltration, but it does not meet the original design specifications, and the quality of the produced water is not up to standard. Through this technical upgrade, the condensate system and the desalinated water system in the desalinated water treatment unit are operated separately; this ensures that the water volume and quality of the desalinated water treatment unit meet the required standards even if there are issues with the condensate system, thus satisfying the production needs of various units. The technical renovation project for desalinated water is planned to cost around 27 million yuan, and it will be carried out by the EPC contractor Beijing Beijiet Company. After a series of preliminary steps such as feasibility studies, project approval, preliminary design, public bidding, and detailed design, and after overcoming numerous difficulties, the project commenced as scheduled. It is expected to be completed and handed over for operation at the center by February 2021.
