The 1 million-ton methanol upgrade project and the associated pipeline projects successfully passed the completion inspection conducted by the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Construction Quality Inspection Station of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On June 25, the 1 million-ton methanol upgrade project and the related pipeline projects carried out by Enehua Company passed the completion inspection by the aforementioned inspection station, laying a solid foundation for the official completion and acceptance of the methanol project. This handover and acceptance inspection conducted a comprehensive review of the completion status of the physical construction works for the methanol synthesis section, gasification and purification section, air separation section, utility systems section, and the long-distance transmission pipelines associated with methanol production in the methanol project, as well as the technical documents related to the handover of the project. Experts from the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Construction Quality Inspection Station of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region examined item by item the comprehensive conditions that must be met prior to completion acceptance, in accordance with **standards, industry standards, and local standards; they ultimately confirmed that all regulatory requirements were satisfied and approved the completion acceptance.
On March 19, good news came regarding the 1 million-ton methanol capacity expansion project at China Coal Hubei Energy Chemicals: methanol was introduced into the methanol storage area, which was officially put into use. This marks a transition for the methanol synthesis unit constructed by our company, from joint commissioning to operational testing.
The second-phase construction project of China Coal Enerchemical for the technical upgrade of syngas-based methanol production with an annual capacity of 1 million tons is located in the Tuk Industrial Park in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. It utilizes Zemach BGL fixed-bed slag gasification technology, purification technologies (low-temperature methanol washing + deep cryogenic methane separation), as well as advanced methanol synthesis techniques that feature low consumption and low energy usage, to build a MTO-grade methanol plant with an annual output of 1 million tons. The project commenced construction on September 21, 2018.
