According to statistics from China’s Customs, from January to November 2021, China exported a total of 31.331 million tons of various types of fertilizers, representing a 19.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Among various fertilizer types, sulfuric acid AN had the highest cumulative exports in the first 11 months, reaching 9.188 million tons. From January to November 2021, the top 5 fertilizer and raw material categories in terms of import volume in China were sulfur at 7.8319 million tons, other types of potassium chloride excluding pure potassium chloride at 7.2758 million tons, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizers at 1.137 million tons, ammonia at 774,700 tons, and pure potassium chloride at 107,200 tons. In November 2021, the top 5 fertilizer types in terms of export volume from China were sulfuric acid at 1.0209 million tons, urea at 499,800 tons, diammonium phosphate at 129,300 tons, ammonium phosphate at 76,100 tons, and superphosphate with a P2O5 content of less than 35% at 50,500 tons. In November 2021, China imported 999,600 tons of sulfur, 694,400 tons of potassium chloride (including pure potassium chloride), 25,000 tons of ammonia, and 108,400 tons of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizers.
