Currently, demand in the agricultural sector is weak; daily urea production and inventory levels are rising, resulting in an ample supply, so upward price gains are expected to be limited. According to CCTV, to ensure the supply of fertilizers for spring plowing and domestic potash fertilizers, as well as to meet emergency fertilizer needs in the aftermath of disasters, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance took proactive measures. As early as 2020, building upon the existing commercial reserve system for fertilizers during the off-season, they optimized and established a commercial reserve system for fertilizers. This system encompasses three types of reserves: fertilizers for spring plowing, potash fertilizers, and disaster relief fertilizers.
