In the Shenyang area, the price stays steady at 2,350–2,370 yuan per ton, ex-works. Traders are selling at a moderate pace, while downstream companies purchase based on their actual needs. The market price of methanol in the Qinghai region is not available at the moment. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 30 yuan per ton, reaching 2200 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 2,320 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 2,250 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. Negotiation focus in Henan’s methanol market has declined. The futures market is declining; companies in Henan are offering stable prices, but actual factory prices come with discounts. The reference price is 2250–2260 yuan per ton ； Quotations in the Luoyang market are around 2,280 yuan per ton, with weak trading activity. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating in a state of stability, with trading activity at a standstill. Some enterprises in Hubei have adjusted their prices upward; the actual ex-factory price is around 2,500–2,560 yuan per ton ； Trading activity in the Hunan market is weak; a reference price of around 2,630–2,650 yuan per ton applies. The demand from downstream users in the Fujian region for methanol is generally weak. In the two ports of Quanzhou, spot prices at the main storage areas range around 2550–2570 yuan per ton, including taxes; in Xiamen, the prices are around 2600 yuan per ton, also including taxes. There is little activity in terms of transactions.
