According to Xinghua Group, as various maintenance tasks were gradually completed, in the early hours of March 11, 2025, oxygen was successfully introduced into the eastern conversion unit. Subsequently, the medium-voltage transformer in Phase 3, the low-voltage transformer at the northern site of Phase 1, the decarboxylation tower in Phase 2, the methanation reactor in Phase 2, and the synthesis unit in Phase 2 of the synthesis center all began to operate safely and successfully, allowing the natural gas production system to resume its normal operation. Currently, the East Unit has started operating at reduced capacity, while maintenance work is also in progress on the remaining units. This maintenance work began on February 27th. The old production system in Xinghua, Shaanxi, uses natural gas as raw material and a two-stage conversion process with pure oxygen for heat exchange to produce synthetic ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitro compound fertilizers, and other products. There are two ammonia synthesis production lines, producing 250,000 tons of ammonia per year.
