Shaanxi Chemical Company places emphasis on energy conservation, consumption reduction, and recycling, achieving the best historical levels for its key energy and material consumption indicators. Among these, the coal consumption per ton of steam decreased by 3.58 kilograms, while the coal consumption per ton of synthetic ammonia dropped by 33.13 kilograms. A total of 54,900 tons of standard coal were saved throughout the year, and the effective gas content in the gasifier increased to over 82.5%. According to Shaanxi Chemical Coal Chemical Industry, as of January 31, 2026, the company’s large-particle urea production facility has been operating at full capacity continuously for over 40 days, once again breaking the record of 30 days set last year. Building on the 30-day continuous operation of the large-particle unit in the initial phase, Shaanxi Chemical achieved long-term operation by strengthening equipment management, optimizing processes, and addressing technical challenges (by optimizing the structure and upgrading installations to completely solve common industry problems such as nozzle clogging and fluid leakage). According to Sinochem New Network, Shaanxi Chemical also carried out systematic renovations on the stripping tower. Shaanxi Chemical Industry uses an improved CO2 stripping process and fluidized bed granulation to produce 400,000 tons per year of large-grain urea. This is the upgrade and renovation project for the urea production equipment in the Shaanxi Chemical Industry’s chemical division. Designed by Hualu Engineering Company. The renovation project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024, followed by trial runs.
